The 2016 OCRRA/BCA Earth Day Litter Cleanup event was a huge success. A total of 45 residents, Cub Scouts and parents from Pack 209, members of the Liverpool High Key Club and employees of the EDGE Federal Credit Union teamed up to fill a Clay Highway truck to the brim. We were able to clean our county Adopt-a-Highway segment of Route 57 from John Glenn to Maryland Lane, John Glenn from Buckley Road to Route 57 and interior green spaces inside the Bayberry Community. In addition, a small group from nearby Woodspath Acres collected John Glenn from Route 57 West to the pedestrian bridge and added their trash to ours making our collective efforts even more worthwhile. Thanks again to all who participated, Clay Highway for use of the truck and Wegmans for the donation of collection bags.
