There’s a lot of activity on the Route 31 corridor before the Clay Town Planning Board. Proposals for addition of the North End Commons consisting of a Texas Road House Restaurant, Five Star Urgent Care, Kay Jewelry and Starbucks Coffee are in the early stages with modifications still in the works for the site plan and drive thru. Developers hope for a 2020 commencement. Site is west of the Lowe’s complex on the south side of Route 31.

Widewaters Group is proposing Widewaters Commons just east of the Sharon Chevrolet site on the north side of Route 31. The 100,000 square foot complex will consist of restaurants and retail in the three freestanding buildings. According to the preliminary site plan, one of the main entrances will be at the newly installed traffic signal near Davidson Ford with a restaurant with a drive thru. This project is also in the early stages in front of the Clay Town Planning Board.

Aldi on Route 31 is proposing to expand its current location. Details to follow.
